Bio: Tim McFeeley
Tim McFeeley is the executive director of the Center for Policy Alternatives (CPA), the nation's leading nonpartisan progressive public policy and leadership development center serving state legislators, state policy organizations and state grassroots leaders. McFeeley is an attorney, writer, strategic consultant and nonprofit manager. Born in Johnstown, New York in 1946, McFeeley received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Harvard Law School. For 15 years, McFeeley served as corporation counsel for national medical care, and during that time became familiar with the changes in delivering health care services and products in the United States. For over five years thereafter, McFeeley was the executive director of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C. during a half-decade of significant growth and influence. He has provided strategic and fund-raising advice to a variety of nonprofit organizations and authored The Price of Access.
