Bio: Before becoming Executive Director of the Ohio Democratic Party, Doug Kelly was the Director of Political Affairs for the Mario Morino Family of Cleveland. In this role, he handled strategic communications, oversaw the family's various national and state-based political activities, and spent two years working to build stronger, more effective nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the Morinos in June 2005, Kelly spent 10 years at the DNC in Washington, DC. Earlier in his career, Kelly served as Director of Tax Analysis at Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ). He has authored numerous publications and studies, and provided the research for Paul Begala's 2000 book, Is Our Children Learning? A native of Adrian, Michigan, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Harvard University.
